Maybe but just look at it I expect a Lexus with a million miles to be pretty well maintained

That poor Lexus looks like it’s been through the wringer.
You may wish to consider your next phone having a camera with mechanical Optical Image Stabilization like a Lumia with PureView for these shots. They can eliminate blur and capture the detail if used correctly.

Even the best of cars won’t survive terrible owners/drivers. The fact this car still appears to run is a testament to the quality of construction...

It does run just fine in fact it’s damn reliable but it looks like it is going to fall apart

Actually the One M8 has a decent camera but is of lower resolution, but it does take some finagling to get the shot just so. It’s better than if it’d been an older phone or some cheap-o no-name phone.

I readily admit that I have added the Lexus LS 400 to my short list of second-cars to investigate after reading about the Million Miler and watching the RCR video. It might even be at the top of the list right now. (Other cars on the list: Panther and rwd Volvo wagon.)
